Our job
The particularity of the winemaking lies in its diversity, whether it be winemaker, oenologist or wine merchant. We made the decision to share the tasks within our family.
This highly masculine profession did not frighten the women of our family, that's why as soon as she bought Château Beaurang with her husband, Marie Puyol, our first generation, embarked for the crazy adventure of this beautiful profession.
Thanks to our different personalities and our understanding we were able to stand out and make our high quality Saint-Émilion wines.
Our Vineyard
At Château Beaurang our vineyard benefits from the geological diversity and oceanic microclimate of the area of Saint Emilion. These conditions allow ideal nutrition and maturity of the grapes of excellent quality.
This rich soil, perfect for the growth of our different grape varieties, offers us a multitude of possibilities when blending our wines, mixing richness, aromas and sweetness.
Our Know-How
Our know-how is a gift from our ancestors and it is part of the identity of each of us. For generations, we have adopted these ancestral practices to feed on our memories. Together we have taken care of the vines planted since 1958.
Our family has retained our know-how while adapting to today’s innovation. Continuing to apply some old methods is a daily effort and allows you to taste wines passed through generations.
The wine cycle
To produce a good quality wine, it is necessary to follow a whole process that we call the wine cycle. These many steps are essential and are the foundation of our profession. Following the seasons while applying the rules of production of the Saint-Emilion appellation has become for us a real passion and rhythm every day of our year at Château Beaurang.
