Meet the Puyol family at Château Beaurang

Château Beaurang has seen the birth of its fifth generation of the Puyol family in recent years. But it is in 1949 that our story begins, the year when Joseph Puyol, the grandfather of the current owner, Claude Puyol, had the opportunity to buy a farm located in Saint-Emilion. Originally from the Autonomous Community of Aragon in northern Spain, Joseph Puyol was a shepherd from the Spanish Pyrenees.

He decided to leave his native land and to settle in France. He therefore settled in Saint Emilion where he acquired the property located in the place called Beaurang. Initially, this place was destined to become an agricultural property with the main objectives of farming. Gradually the main activity becomes the vineyards and the winemaking.

Nowadays this activity continues to punctuate the life of Château Beaurang, and this is what we have decided to share with you.
