1913
Joseph Puyol's first visit to France
Joseph lived in Aragon, Spain. His first visit to France was to work the land by hand in 1913, he returned several times after and established contacts with landowners in Bordeaux.
1919
Installation of the Puyol family in Dordogne
After the 1st World War, the marriage and then the birth of José, Marie and Joseph decided to settle in France as farmers for almost 20 years in the village of Montcaret in Dordogne.
1949
The Puyol family buys a farm in Saint-Emilion

José PUYOL and his wife Odette succeed Joseph and Marie PUYOL.

The Château des Jouvencelles
Claude and Marie Christine decide to expand their range by producing rosé with the purchase of a property in Bordeaux appellation, Château des Jouvencelles was born!
